White Water Rafting
The Köprüçay River winds its way down through the Taurus Mountains, flowing through stunning, high-walled canyons. With an abundance of natural splendor, it is one of Turkey's most beautiful natural areas. Our 11 km river rafting tour combines spectacular virgin scenery with white water thrills to create an experience of a lifetime.
Rafting tours start between 10 and 11 in the morning. Upon arrival at the rafting base, our professional guides provide a safety briefing about the course, the river and the technical equipment. Our guides are fluent in Turkish, English, German and Russian.
After passing through the first rapid, we’ll take a break for swimming and exploring around the beautiful Büğrüm Bridge before continuing on. At 12:30 p.m., we’ll stop for a picturesque lunch on the banks of the river. Our menu can be tailored to specific dietary preferences or restrictions, but usually includes grilled chicken or trout, beans, vegetables, rice, potatoes, various seasonal salads and fresh fruit. After lunch, we paddle on and try exciting activities like body rafting.
At the end of the tour, we’ll offer photography services to allow guests to preserve their memories of the day. The tour will end around 4:00 p.m.
Our Köprüçay River tour includes rapids of Levels 1 and 2 on the international rafting difficulty scale. Guests need not have any previous rafting experience, and the tour is appropriate for anyone in good health. It requires almost no effort from the rider—just the ability to swim and to hold on to a boat. Our skilled guides will ensure the safety of everyone on the tour.
Rafting groups will enjoy a safe and exciting day under the supervision of our trained and highly experienced guides. We use professional-grade Ducky inflatable rafts in both 8-seat and 2-seat models. Our customers, guides and equipment are all fully insured.
